About
I develop things.
Between 2004 and 2006, I worked as a Junior Researcher at Virtual Reality and Multimedia Research Group, having developed with colleagues a virtual reality project related to oil well exploration (VisPetro). Also, I implemented collision handling on a gesture fighting game, GeFighters.
Between 2006 and 2007, I developed with colleagues the online portal for the State of São Paulo’s Official Press (Imprensa Oficial do Estado de São Paulo) among another web related projects.
In 2007, I have obtained my B.Sc. degree in Computing Science at Federal University of Pernambuco with a graduation project entitled “OpenStereo a library for development of stereoscopic applications”. In this project a I have developed a cross-platform abstraction plugin-based library to facilitate the development of stereoscopic applications on old graphics cards.
Between 2007 and 2010, as part of my Master’s dissertation, I developed a high performance massively parallel grid based data structure for real-time nearest neighbor queries search in dynamic point clouds on the Graphics Processing Unit (GPU or graphics card) using CUDA (GPU code) and C++ (CPU code) as the programming languages. As a study case, I implemented a Point-Based Renderer using OpenGL, GLSL and C++.
In 2010, I obtained my M.Sc. degree in Computer Science at Federal University of Pernambuco.
Currently, I am working at Microsoft in the Dynamics AX team as a Software Development Engineer.
